We checked at West Marine to see if our GPS chip had arrived and found that it had made it to Newark, NJ and would not be in Burlington until Monday at 10:30 so since the marina was sold out for Saturday night, we had to move out into the mooring field and catch a mooring ball.

We decided to go into town and spend some time looking around so we had to put the dinghy down off the roof and attach the new motor to it.

The ride to shore is about 1/2 mile and was nice.

You can see about anything either in the store windows or even walking around at the mall area in town.

We stopped for appetizers at a street pub and were entertained by an amazing act.

Back to the boat after walking around town. Since there is such a steep hill to get to the street mall, Burlington provides a free shuttle up and down the street which is a back and leg saver. We took advantage of it both ways.

It is peaceful tonight however the winds are supposed to kick up tomorrow which is not good because we have to leave the mooring field and return to the dock for our reserved slip. West Marine is supposed to bring our chip to the boat when they get it Monday then we will leave for the Canadian border.
