As you will note ... not many pictures today since the First mate had camera duty.
When we finally got moving around this morning we called our friends on Carried Away who were anchored outside the break water to see if they were interested in going into town with us. It was still pretty windy and they were uncomfortable riding in to the marina in their dinghy but were interested if they could get a slip but couldn't contact the marina for some reason. We went to the office and arranged a slip on the T-dock right behind Quest for them.

It was still pretty windy but Bill put the boat right in with a wind on his starboard beam blowing against the boat.

Two wild & crazy guys |
We took the bus to the university Mall and after a lunch of tacos went to the hair salon where we all got trimmed. We walked around the mall and the ladies decided they wanted to go to another shopping area so Bill & I elected to take the bus back to the boats.

Waiting on the bus |
Bill & I chilled out for a couple hours before the ladies returned. We all had dinner at the marina then went over to the south dock where a couple other loopers (Marc's Ark & Muriel June) were docked and planned our get away tomorrow morning for the last stop in the USA at Rouses Point. Looks like we will depart around 8 a.m. for the 38 mile run which is pretty early for us but we want company. Carried Away is going to spend a couple more days here before heading north.
Since we will be so close to the Canadian border our air card is going into storage till Michigan late next month due to the charges Verizon will impose if we use it in Canadian waters. We will have to use marina WiFi or coffee house WiFi to keep our blog going and we may have to limit pictures but bear with us because we want to take you on the trip with us. The best is yet to come.
