Mackinac Island Harbor, Mackinac Island, MI - 8/7/12

We had a slow start today by sleeping in a little so we didn't get moving until late morning.  Since Ricki had a hair appointment later this afternoon, we decided to just walk around a little and then have lunch.

Hotel Lobby

 For lunch we stopped at one of the many hotels on the island.  Check out the elevator door.

Pink Pony

 Lunch was in the sports bar area of the hotel know as the Pink Pony.  It was very busy and we had a little wait to get seated.

Post Office

 The following pictures were taken as we walked around the town.

The hair salon was located at the west end of the island so we decided to walk that way to see if we could find it.  It was in a little plaza at the bottom of the hill leading up to the Grand Hotel.  Being a little early for her appointment, we stopped at the Gate House which is part of the hotel complex for a refreshing beverage.

I returned to the boat to watch the Olympics while Ricki got her hair cut.  Dinner was on the boat and desert was on Seaquel with Joe and Edie.  They are leaving tomorrow so hopefully we will catch up with them later.
