We left Frankfort at 8 a.m. following Seaquel with Queen Kathleen right behind us. Our destination was Ludington, 51 miles away.

Leaving Frankfort |
Calm Lake Michigan |
What a pleasant surprise ... the lake was flat and we had one of the nicest days so far on this big water.
Sable Point Light |
Ludington Light |
We turned into Ludington breakwater about 1:45 p.m. and contacted the marina for slip instructions. Our slip is beside Seaquel who is beside Queen Kathleen who is beside another looper boat Mia and we are across from 2 other loopers.
Ludington Beach |
Badger |
The Badger is a very large coal burning ferry that crosses the lake to Wisconsin several times a day with a payload of people and cars.
Looper Tradition |
With all these loopers in the marina ... have to have a happy hour!
Tomorrow we will leave at 8:30 along with a couple others for Whitehall on White Lake where we plan to spend 2 days.
