As planned, we left Little Current at 8 a.m. and followed Joe and Edie on Seaquel to the Benjamin Islands a run of about 15 miles. We decided to poke our noses into the islands so we could say we have seen them.
Seaquel |
Shortly after setting course around the South Benjamin's I received a call from Queen Kathleen who had been anchored there, inquiring about our destination for the day which was Blind River. Their destination was the same and they joined our flotilla. I had charted the course on to Blind River and was elected lead dog.
The North Channel is a nice as we had envisioned and here are a few shots on our way to the most northern part of the Great Loop.
We arrived at 3 p.m. after nearly a 60 mile run that was mostly in water protected by islands. Mike and Kathleen rode their bikes into town in search of a restaurant for dinner since the cafe at the marina was closed today.

Tomorrow we will probably start back toward the USA and anchor in some islands about half way then on to Drummond Island Friday.
