Monday was registration day at the rendezvous. Skip & Barb Johnson (Moor Stuff) have their boat in Delaware City Marina getting it ready to resume the trip but drove down to Chesapeake, VA and spent the night on Stan & Collen Anderson's boat (Endeavor) who are coming to the rendezvous. Barb & Collen showed up on our boat shortly after 9 a.m. while Stan & Skip brought the big boat up the waterway.

After spending a great afternoon with our traveling friends from last year, we went to the 5 p.m. welcome meeting and introduction of current loopers. When asked what part of the loop we liked best to date, the first thing that came to mind was "spring break at Ft. Lauderdale". There were probably 50 of us currently on the loop. Of course there was a social hour after this meeting before dinner and since Stan was expecting a friend to join us, he went outside the hotel and hid his beverage in the shrubs until he went to the boat to get something. It had been a long time between practical jokes so we couldn't resist taking his drink back inside before he returned.

Looper friends Barb & John Flint (Scoperta) whom we had traveled with from York River Yacht Haven, their home port, to Tangier Island, DC & back to YRYH also drove over for the evening. It was so great seeing all of our great friends for the evening.

Tuesday the meetings start and will cover our trip up the east coast and thru Canada. There is so much information to absorb but I am sure it will be very helpful.
