HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY !!
This morning began with a breakfast sponsored by the marina in honor of Mother's Day.

After breakfast Jack gave a talk on things to see and places to go on the Chesapeake.

Ricki did the laundry and relaxed beside the pool with her kindle between loads while I did engine checks and other things around the boat.

Ten of us decided to go to a local restaurant for dinner instead of eating on the boats. The restaurant even sent a car for us and made 2 trips.

After dinner 8 of us piled into the Suburban for the ride back to the marina and when it pulled into the parking lot the young lady driving us jumped out because it was steaming under the hood. Being the super mechanics we all have become, we rigged it enough to get her back to the restaurant where she decided to drive her own car back to the marina with our 2 remaining boaters.Just another exciting evening!
Tomorrow Next Endeavor, Carried Away and Quest will leave around 7 a.m. for the 60 mile run to Solomons Island.
We sare currently about 20 miles from Annapolis and plan on leaving here on Wednesday to head to the C&D canal. Hope we see you before entering NY. John
