Confederation Basin, Kingston, ON - 7/7/12

We woke up this morning to rain but as it turned out, only lasted until noon.  We had not done laundry other than a few things that won't wrinkle in our boat combo unit since Rouses Point, NY before we entered Canada the first time so we had quite a load to do.

Lounge/Laundromat
Ricki & I took our load of dirty stuff to the lounge/laundromat and loaded 3 washers which were two tonnes ($1 coins) each. Michelle was there doing some laundry and the ladies cooked up the idea of going into town to get a pedicure and let me finish the job at hand.

Pampered Queen
When I finished my assigned chore I returned to the boat and tried to find a marina for Sunday night in Picton but since we have caught up with all the other loopers, none could be secured.  We will still go to Picton tomorrow and anchor out unless something becomes open.

Market Area
When Ricki returned we decided to take the trolley tour of the city before we left and we needed to walk past the Food Tasting of Kingston and Open market areas to get our tickets.

Wrestlers
These guys were putting on a show.

Royal Military College
The tour took us through downtown, the Royal Military College, past Fort Henry and by many pretty homes and structures.

We returned to the boat and relaxed for awhile then Marc & Michelle came over after attending Mass and shared adult beverages with us.  A group of folks, mostly loopers, were hanging around the dock so we joined in for a while until "boaters midnight" arrived and everyone split.
