We
moved from the marina to the lock wall early this morning when a spot became
vacant, a trip of less than ½ mile. This
put us on the side of the canal next to the town which is really neat. It is not the usual“touristy” town with lots
of souvenir shops.

. It does have Bigley Shoe Store which is one
big store. The ladies went into town and
spent time there shopping while I washed the boat.

The one thing I miss about salt water is … they don’t have
spiders. Spider poop is really hard to
get off the boat and we sure are getting our fair share of it.

Ricki prepared dinner and we enjoyed another great time with
Marc and Michelle. Later we hit the
water for a short swim then enjoyed adult beverages on the sundeck with them
and Rick and Debbie who we met a couple days ago and are on the lock wall below
the lock, and Parin and Greg, another Canadian couple that are on the boat next
to us. One of the best things about this
trip is all the folks you meet along the way.
Tomorrow we move again and time will tell how far.
