Clayton, NY - 7/5/12

This morning we all slept in a little and then had a great breakfast prepared by the first mate while discussing what we would get into today.  The ladies decided to walk the few blocks into town and explore the shops while I went to the Antique Boat Museum.

While we were enjoying our breakfast on  the sundeck these little skiffs were squirting all over the place.  This was a free feature of the museum for the kids while mom & dad explored the various exhibits.

Boldt's Houseboat
There was a theater in the museum that featured the life of George Bolt which included pictures of the boats he owned (60 of them) and the history of the castle.

Boldt Castle

Another building has nothing but racing boats in it.

A third building houses restoration projects.  This is a 42 foot boat that is being totally restored.

I met the girls back at the boat about 4:30 and we decided a run to Lowe's, Target and West Marine was in order.  This is the first time I have ever seen this gal on a lawn tractor.

We returned to the boat after dinner and was greeted by 5 new looper boats in the marina.  Jackets II with Stephen & Charlotte was directly across from us.

Tomorrow Dianne and Christine head back home and we will return to Kingston for a few days before heading for the Trent-Severn Canal.
