As we traveled along I kept hearing a strange noise from the rear of the boat and started thinking what could be going wrong. Our granddaughters who have been with us for a few days were practicing on the conch shell.
They have enjoyed being on the front deck both worshiping the sun as well as looking very lovely in their dresses. Even though I think they have enjoyed their time on the boat, I know they are anxious to see their home families. We will be meeting daughter Christine in Charleston who will spend the night on the boat before taking the girls home.
Dinner after we got to Charleston was in the marina restaurant. If I remember correctly, only one person out of the nine of us even ordered a sea food related item.
On Sunday were were up early and went into town with the girls and Christine. We decided to go to the Market area and then walk on to the waterfront and Rainbow Row.
The park in front of the waterfront is nothing but spectacular. It has a couple of fountains that invite the kids to wade.

Tomorrow we will clean up and decorate the boat for the 4th. We are expecting friends John and Sylvia who live here in Mt. Pleasant, to join us on the boat this evening to watch the fireworks across the harbor. It is supposed to be one of the biggest shows in the country.
