Sanford, FL - 6/9/11

After breakfast this morning I tackled the job of replacing a bolt in the salon A/C raw water strainer. When cleaning out the mud a couple days ago, one of the bolts that hold the cap on the strainer decided to break. This 15 minute job took nearly 2 hours and by that time it was well over 80 in the boat since I had to shut the thru hull for the a/c and couldn't run it. After a quick shower, Huen & I took off to the ABC store to replenish the stock before turning in the car tomorrow. We dropped Barb off at the hospital to see Skip on our way as well.

In this part of Florida they have a little bug called the blind mosquito and it really covers the boat each night. Our front deck is pretty stained as a result I decided to give that part of the boat a bath then filled the water tanks in case we are able to leave tomorrow. Skip thinks he will be released tomorrow after he gets another anti bacterial cocktail tonight and wants to head north. This marina has a poop barge that comes around on Thursdays and pumps out holding tanks so that was done as well today. While I worked on the boat chores this afternoon, Ricki went to the hospital to pick up Barb and we all got caught in a major downpour, the first rain we have seen for months.

Cricket went to Disney World with her sister so dinner tonight was Huen, Barb, Ricki & I on Quest for spaghetti.
