Fernandina Beach, FL - 6/15/11

Another day at Fernandina Beach so we could look around before heading north. Sometimes you just need a little "land" time occasionally to keep balanced. At 9:30 this morning the 5 of us all went to a coffee shop for a little coffee and danish before the girls set out on their shopping fix. Huen had stayed at the boat to work on getting his fridge out in preparation to be replaced in Savannah. After having coffee with the ladies, Skip & I came back to the boat to work on other projects like charting our course for the next couple days.

The ladies shopped for a while before Barb felt a little goofy from the heat and came back to the boat. But that didn't stop the other 2 from completing their rounds.

This is for granddaughter Katherine.

Mid afternoon Lucky One & Quest decided to take a dinghy ride to the ocean beach. As we tried to drop our dinghy the cable snapped and I spent time getting things back on the cradle so Ricki, Cricket, Huen and Doc took off for the beach.

Fernandina has over 15 miles of sandy beach to enjoy. seems like they found their own personal area.
