Norfolk, VA - 8/3/11

This morning Huen & I went to the local ATT store to get a replacement for his phone that decided to take a swim under the boat when he was being a gentleman helping Ricki board the boat last night. The phone dropped in over 20 feet of water yet it was recovered by a diver and although the phone was shot, the chip in it was still good. When we returned the ladies were ready to go ... road trip!





We went back to the Outer Banks to go through the Wright Brothers Memorial and museum.

The ranger gave an interesting history of the first flight. The Wright brothers came to Kitty Hawk at least 3 times before being successful with the first motorized flight.

The 4th flight ended at the end of this path.

After we left Kitty Hawk we went back to Elizabeth City where Huen had left his truck and they started back to Savannah. We really enjoyed having Huen and Cricket as our boat guests this week and will miss them a lot. Good luck Monday my friend.

Tomorrow Ricki & I plan to do laundry then probably go to the beach for awhile. Tonight we will sit down with Skip & Barb and look at the Chesapeake charts. We are looking at staying here through Monday then take off again.
