When the tide went down their boat got caught on a 2 x 6 and had it out of the water on the starboard side. So ... a couple hours later the tide came in and off it came.
We all left the marina at 10:50 a.m. and travel the 38 miles to Bayside Marina in Colonial Beach, VA.
Quest led the way out of the marina to the Potomac River and then followed Moor $tuff up the river.
Nice day ... nice water.
The tide ran with us and we made good time.
We actually got to the Bayside Marina at 3 p.m. and walked around the town.
Couldn't resist this '57 Caddie .....
Many buildings were like coming back to the 60's or 70's......
the beach area was fantastic ....
The big building on the right is my destination ... adult beverages!!!!
This is starting to be a habit ....Saturday we head on up the river to DC for a few days.
Our position today is: N38 14.932 W 76 58.016
PS ... a note to Jack ... all our position numbers are off our GPS and sometimes we are very close to "land mass".
