The only thing you can do under these conditions is a road trip. Ricki and Barb had a ladies day out shopping and left skip & I here to "veg". Skip received his new Garmin chartplotter so we spent time looking at it. Dinner was at the marina cafe and we had to dodge rain showers coming and going.
Thursday - 1/6/11
I got a call early from Gulf Diesel that my injector pumps were back from being refurbished and the repairman would be here at 1 p.m. to install. Boat sounds great now and all I have to do is change fuel filters and adjust the port reverse linkage and we will be ready to travel. Skip and I made our final trip to West marine where he picked up the mounting for his new chartplotter then we stopped and brought pizza home for dinner with the ladies. Watched the movie Captain Ron with them on our vessel then we all retired. Tomorrow I am sending a couple boxes of winter clothing home to get them off the boat and will also return the car to Enterprise. The rendezvous starts tomorrow evening so we will be busy until shove off Monday morning for Steinhatchee.
