Sanford, FL - 6/11/11

We started our day today by dropping Barb off at the hospital at 9 a.m. then quick trips to Jo Ann Fabric and Best Buy before taking the rental car back to enterprise by 10:30. Late morning and early afternoon saw rain showers so we stayed inside and worked on our photo albums.
About 4:30 we got a call from Barb that they were releasing Skip from the hospital so we organized a welcome back cocktail hour in his honor. Good to have him back.

A short time later we were entertained by alligator watching plus the added entertainment of manatees in the harbor. It is mating season for the manatees so they were more active than normal and attracted several folks on land to watch.

Buddy, a live a board here, works for the marina and stopped by to give us some tips on our travels back down the river. We will be leaving at 8 a.m. tomorrow and will try to go 60 plus miles in order to get across Lake George before the fronts move in early next week.
