Cocoa, FL - 5/14/11
We are feeling like prisoners in our boat due to all the love bugs flying around. It is a constant fight to keep them from getting inside when you open a door. So the ladies, Ricki, Barb and Cricket, spent the day shopping in a quaint village just a block off the marina property. It has rained off and on today and a real downpour happened while they were gone. The three of us guys were doing man things (West Marine and a raw bar) when we got the call that they were looking for a pub to stay dry. Cocoa Village is really a neat little town with lots of shops, pubs and craft places for the ladies to loose themselves.
Due to the rain (and bugs) we all retreated to our respective boats for the evening and did not go out for dinner. Ricki and I enjoyed our New England Clam Chowder and called it a night. Tomorrow includes taking all our photos on a flash drive, over 2,200 of them since October, to Sam's to get them printed.
