Since we had a short day today we didn't leave Aberdeen until 9:15 a.m and arrived at Columbus Marina shortly afternoon. We followed "Precious Time" out of the marina thru the twisty course to the main channel then turned south. A beautiful day near 80
degrees brought out the shorts and t-shirts again. This another nice place and a sponsor of the AGLCA. After spending the afternoon cleaning the boat, docktails were on "Next Endeavor" who had arrived a day earlier with "Patience" a couple from Canada. A total of 18 folks attended and we still had room on the helm area of "Next Endeavor". Colleen and Stan have a beautiful boat and she told us they have seated 15 for dinner on this upper level. As we were enjoying each others company and food, a 148 foot boat entered the marina and took up the complete fuel dock. We heard his dock rate was $300 for the night.

I think all of us are planning on spending another day here then go to Pirates Cove Marine (you are right Jack) before taking the longer trip to Demopolis followed by Bobby's Fish Camp, a night at anchor then on to Mobile. There is more than a good chance we will not have cell or air card coverage from Bobby's until we reach Mobile. Time will tell.
