Today was a day of chores. While I took the laundry into town to wash, Ricki prepared the map table on the helm for a new finish. Shortly after lunch we were entertained by a wedding on the pool patio right in front of our boat. The couple looked
The ceremony was a little long but when they released a flock of birds at the end it was pretty awesome.
Later that evening all the loopers on boats got together for a shrimp boil.
Must have at least a hundred folks and everyone brought a side dish so there was quite a selection of things to eat. Our slip mates, Fred & Joan Meyers are pictured here. They have a lovely American Tug that they have used to research some of his books he has written on the rivers.
Tomorrow is the official registration for the rendezvous. The marina is really starting to fill up and we are hearing horror stories about the wait to get through Wilson & Wheeler dams. Some are as long as 7 hours. Guess we were lucky to practically have the doors open and waiting.
Sounds like you are have a great time!! Greg and I are trying to figure out the best time to come along for a ride. Thanks for keeping up the blog and the pictures. We love it!!!
