We finally have the boat out of storage at the yacht club and have started to prepare it for departure in September. I have spent several days in the "holy spot" cleaning engines and the bilge areas. This has been a very slow process since it is very hot and humid in the Ohio Valley area. It still needs cleaned, waxed, the salon floor refinished and a new GPS installed to replace the old Garmin before launching in the next couple weeks. After it makes it to the Ohio River, I can finish the many little things that need attention (according to the Admiral) in air conditioned comfort. Our estimated departure is 9/18 with the first stop being the AGLCA Rendezvous at Joe Wheeler State Park in Alabama October 24th.
